Kenzo Digital

Kenzo Digital is a new media artist and director based in New York. Having shown his film work at the prestigious Tribeca Film and Mill Valley Film Festivals, Kenzo has been considered to be one of the future great directors. Taken under the wing of the world renowned Nam June Paik, who has carefully nurtured Kenzo’s talents to almost perfection. Over the past couple of years Kenzo has directed many films, music videos and commercials for the likes of L’Oreal, Beyonce and the Obama campaign.
Kenzo has also created some really interesting personal projects of his own, which include this one titled “City Of God’s Son” an audio-driven cinematic piece with no images, just sound including the voices and music of some of New York’s most legendary rappers such as Nas, Biggie, Jay Z, Ghostface Killah and more.

Our favorite Kenzo Digital film is titled “Ultra Kara-tay”, and stars PONY’s very own Dee and Ricky. The video is a homage to 8-bit video game culture and Kung-Fu movies using stop motion animation, martial arts and original music production. It’s exciting to say the least so make sure you check it out.
